Excellent Basics:
Small habits that make a big difference in your horsemanship

“Only those who have the patience to do simple things perfectly will acquire the skill to do difficult things easily.” Friedrich von Schiller

Do you ever wonder why you've been taught to do something with your horse a certain way? I often find that even great riders can't explain why they do things beyond "This is how I was taught"
I want to help you understand why the fundamental skills we all learn as beginners are the most important, and how getting your basics better will elevate everything else you do with or around your horse.

It doesn't matter what style of riding you do, or how long you've done it for. We are all better when we truly understand the things we're doing, instead of just going through the motions. I want to teach you how to think about the things you do with your horse, instead of just teaching you how to do things, so that you can take that understanding and apply it to anything else you learn.
