Our Horses
Hope
Hope is a 2007 Thoroughbred mare who is the first horse I ever owned.
She is the reason I started exploring classical and natural horsemanship training methods, trying to better understand how to get through to horses who feel overwhelmed by conventional training methods.
She's taught me to second guess what I know and put my horse before the results.
Together we've trail ridden, camped and fox hunted, and now she's also a fantastic broodmare. She had her first foal in 2018, my Irish Draught Sport Horse Violet.
In May 2022 Hope delivered a beautiful filly by Beau Balou.
Violet
Violet is a 2018 Irish Draught Sport Horse by Class 1 RID Stallion Rhyd's Sea Quest and out of my Thoroughbred mare Hope.
Violet is currently learning to be a riding horse, with the eventual goal that she will be up for anything with me in the future. I'm dreaming of lots of trail riding, fox hunting, eventing, some obstacle work and maybe even a few foals in the future.
